Palestine A Human Struggle for Freedom and Justice

The struggle against oppression and exploitation is one. Whether in Palestine, the Congo, or elsewhere, the choice to remain silent today will make you or your children the victims of the same system that robs Palestinians of their rights.
Remember, the rights we take for granted today were once distant dreams for generations that fought relentlessly. Do not let injustice prevail. Palestine calls, and the world needs your voice. Be part of the change.
In a world full of contradictions, Palestine stands as a symbol of enduring human struggle, a cause that transcends geography and politics to become the responsibility of all who believe in justice and freedom. The Palestinian cause is not merely a conflict between an occupied people and a colonial power; it is the embodiment of a global fight against colonialism, racism, and exploitation, whose ripple effects touch every corner of the world.
Palestine represents a living example of the human suffering caused by modern colonialism. Since 1948, when the state of Israel was established on Palestinian land, over 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced in one of the largest acts of ethnic cleansing in the 20th century, known as the Nakba. This was followed by Israel's occupation of the West Bank and Gaza in 1967 during the Six-Day War, with ongoing policies of colonization and settlement aimed at expanding control over Palestinian lands.
Why Palestine?
Today, Palestine faces a systematic methodology of dispossession through the blockade on Gaza, apartheid policies in the West Bank, and the theft of land under false legal pretexts. These policies do not simply target a people; they are an extension of colonial practices that threaten humanity as a whole.
Colonialism and Zionism
The Barbaric Face of Dominance
Zionism is an extension of 19th-century European colonialism, built on the idea of racial superiority and aimed at establishing a state at the expense of indigenous populations. This project would not have been possible without the backing of major powers, particularly the United States, which has poured billions of dollars into supporting the Israeli occupation.
These policies are not disconnected from the broader history of Western colonialism in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. In the Congo, Belgian colonialism under King Leopold II killed over 10 million people. In South Africa, apartheid oppressed indigenous populations until 1994. In Palestine, the occupation continues its apartheid policies and discrimination, making it a continuation of the same colonial mindset.
Interconnected Human Struggles
No One Is Free Until Everyone Is Free
The struggle in Palestine is not isolated. Throughout history, liberation movements have been interconnected. The fight against apartheid in South Africa inspired global solidarity against oppression. The labor movements in 19th-century Europe won rights such as limited working hours and the abolition of slavery, and the women’s movements of the 20th century secured the right to vote and political representation.
If we ignore the suffering of Palestinians today, we become witnesses to the repetition of the same injustices humanity has fought against for centuries. How can we forget the struggles of women in the United States to gain voting rights or the civil rights movements of the 1960s? The killing of George Floyd in 2020 reminded us that racism is not dead—it lurks within the corridors of power.
Capitalism and American Hegemony The Global Face of Exploitation
Global capitalism, led by the United States, is not only a supporter of the Israeli occupation but also a partner in policies of genocide. The same governments imposing taxes on Western citizens to fund wars claim there is no money for universal education, healthcare, or solutions for homelessness, yet billions of dollars are allocated annually to support the occupation.
Historically, capitalism has never granted rights voluntarily. Every right enjoyed by citizens in the West today—from working hours to civil liberties—was the result of prolonged struggles against exploitation. If we do not confront hegemony now, the same forces that strip Palestinians, Congolese, and Sudanese of their rights will eventually target the rights of future generations in the West.
Genocide, A Shameful Repetition of History
Genocide is not a new phenomenon. We saw it in the Holocaust, in the Rwandan genocide of 1994, and in the brutal crimes committed by colonial regimes. Today, genocide is being carried out in Palestine before the eyes of the world while the international community remains silent.
This barbarity is not just a Palestinian issue; it is a warning to the entire world. If these policies continue unchecked, their reach will extend to every corner of the globe, where exploitation will become even more brutal.
Palestine, A Global Struggle Against Injustice
"Palestine is free from the river to the sea" is not just a slogan; it is a call to action against colonialism in all its forms. The fight against racism and fascism in the West begins with rejecting Israeli occupation policies and all forms of racial discrimination in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Today, we need a unified global stance. The battle is not only with those who steal Palestinian lands but with those who control the world’s wealth and will not hesitate to crush any movement for justice.
