Verification Protocol

Our Trust and Safety team completes a full verification process on every family included on our website. We want supporters to feel confident that contributions are going to real people with real needs. We are dedicated to making our families feel fully supported.

How do we verify?

We understand that in these difficult circumstances, not every family has strong internet access, or access to the same types of documentation. We keep this in mind during our verification process. Prior to reaching out to a family, we complete the necessary research through social media accounts and campaign details. Once the initial research is completed, we will speak with the family and/or campaign organizer for the following reasons:

- Clarification and verification of details listed within the campaign

- Identity Verification

- Additional details on changes in circumstances

How do we verify identity?

There are a number of ways that we go about verifying the identity that include but are

not limited to:

- Document Verification

- Video Authentication

- Analysis of Social Accounts
