Ahlan,
Hello and welcome to Supportive Pals, my name is Alina. I am half Lebanese, Raja Lebnane! I was fortunate to grow up in two different worlds, half Lebanese & half Polish. My mother would call it Heinz 57 because we had a little bit of everything for sure. I was blessed to grow up in diverse cultures from all over the world that helped me meet many great people. Living this way helped us all learn from one another and make some great friends. There is so much beauty in all of these cultures and I am forever grateful for my experiences. I implore you to never stop exploring all the beauty this world and all its people have to offer.
Being half Lebanese I saw what much of the world couldn’t for decades. Not just in Lebanon, but surrounding countries in the Middle East and this broke my heart to see, but humbled me to always self reflect on my gratitude. It is hard to witness the atrocities not just in the Middle East but globally.
From a young age I just had this immense feeling to help others. History has taught us that what we have learned about these countries did not sit right in my soul. Every ounce of injustice and oppression has driven me to speak up! It doesn't matter if it is right in front of me or across the world I am going to stand! Often standing alone at times, or even outcasted for my beliefs. When it comes to injustice and oppression I did not mind standing alone! I am flawed as all humans are, but I strive to always do better and live for humanity from my core loving human beings! This is me!
